A leader in the concrete and
construction industry since 1997
Our history
Foust Foundations was started in 1997 by Ryan and Tara Foust. The company has always been run from their farm (owned previously by Ryan’s grandparents) outside of Fort Atkinson. Here they raised their kids, and still raise cows, chickens, and pigs and a healthy garden. In the beginning, both Ryan and Tara worked in the field forming and pouring mainly residential homes with some commercial work around Fort Atkinson.
As the company grew with employees and equipment, the need for a dedicated shop and a full time business manager became evident. Tara transitioned from the field and into the office around 2007, and has run the business side of the operation since. The need for a shop prompted construction of a tilt up concrete panel building and associated construction yard on the farm. Designed and built by Ryan and our employees in 2008, the shop still serves us well today. A growing company also had a growing client base with larger buildings.
We transitioned away from single family residential into industrial, commercial, and multi-family residential projects in the early 2010s and have occupied this market as our primary work since. In 2024, Ryan and Tara’s son Ethan began working full time for the company. He represents the next generation of Foust Foundations and has been working in the field learning the trade from our experienced crews.
